Before preparing or giving a bottle, it is important to always wash your hands. It is also necessary to sterilize all utensils that will be used. Boil drinking water for 5 minutes and let it cool down to 40ºC. The first step is to add the necessary amount of water to the bottle. To do this, consult a measurement chart. Use a measuring spoon to add the correct amount of powdered milk. Smooth out the powder with a clean and dry knife. Close the bottle tightly and shake vigorously until the powder is completely dissolved in the water. Remove the bottle cap and replace it with a sterilized teat. Let the milk cool down to 37ºC. To make sure the temperature is appropriate, drip a few drops on your wrist before giving the bottle to the baby. Never reuse the milk that the baby did not drink. Discard any remaining liquid.
